Matt Eaves Photo


Matt grew up in western Kansas and holds a Bachelor of Science from Fort Hays State University. His background includes business management, sports administration and education. For Matt, the greatest part of his job is uniting people and serving his community. He also values working with his staff to developing cause-driven leaders.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys fishing, hunting, sports and traveling.



Rachel Brame

Aquatics Director

For Rachel, the best part of her job is seeing children and adults overcome their fear of the water during lessons and enjoy swimming.

Prior to joining the North Kansas City YMCA, Rachel was the head lifeguard at Platte County Community Center South, operated by the Y, from March 2007 to January 2014, and the aquatics director at the Red Bridge Family YMCA. She also worked for the Hannibal YMCA as the aquatics coordinator while attending Hannibal LaGrange University, where she earned a degree in recreation management.

During the summer of 2012, she worked as a promotions intern for the Kansas City T-Bones baseball team. Rachel grew up in Kansas City, MO.



Justin Greene - Sports Director, Olathe Family YMCA

Sports Director

At the Y, Justin enjoys the opportunity to interact with the youth in sports and build strong relationships with others in the Y community. He grew up in Mansfield, Ohio, where he first started working and volunteering for the Y. He worked in various roles in Ohio, including aquatics, Child Watch and sports.

Justin attended and played football at Emporia State University in Kansas, where he received his Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in recreation and master’s degree in health, physical education and recreation. Prior to his current role, Justin served as a site supervisor in our before and after school program, Y Club.

Outside of the Y, Justin serves as a youth leader at his church and also enjoys working out, playing basketball and spending time with family and friends.
