Cameron Erlandson, Executive Director

Hometown: Mesa, Arizona

Certifications: Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership

 

Hobbies: My favorite things to do always involve time with my wife and kids. Along with that, I love to exercise at the Y, read books and will dance just about any time I hear music with a good beat.

 

Favorite part of working at the Y: "I love working with a great team to serve our community. I love the diversity of our staff, members, donors and community partners working together to improve the lives of people in our community. I am grateful to be part of an organization that strives to live our the values of honesty, respect, caring and responsibility. The YMCA is a wonderful place to make friendships, live a healthy life and make a positive impact in our community."

Sara Mader, Associate Executive Director

Certifications: Masters in Sports Management Administration; ACE Personal Trainer; ACE Fitness Nutrition Certification; ACE Weight Management Certification

 

Hobbies: Camping, kayaking, quilting, reading and I'm a huge KC Current fan.

 

Favorite part of working at the Y: "Getting to know the members and helping our community grow stronger and healthier."

Carly Carlton, Healthy Living Director

Certifications: Bachelors of Science in Sport and Fitness Management; ACE Certified Personal Trainer; YUSA Group Exercise Instructor; Water in Motion (WIM) Instructor

 

Hobbies: Running, hiking, reading, volunteer Girls on the Run coach and volunteering at local animal shelter.

 

Favorite part of working at the Y: "Health and wellness is where my heart lies. I like working for an organization where healthy living for all is the focus, while also striving to exemplify the values of respect, responsibility, caring and honesty."

Matt Cavlovich, Aquatics Director

Hometown: Raytown, Missouri

 

Y Start Date: August 1996

 

Certifications: Lifeguard and CPR Instructor

 

Hobbies: Watching the Chiefs play, movies, traveling and watching my son, Greyson, grow up.

 

Favorite part of working at the Y: "I enjoy watching adults and children get excited when they learn to swim and seeing how the YMCA impacts peoples' lives for the better. The YMCA has always had a positive impact on my life."
