BASKETBALL

Basketball was created by Dr. James Naismith at a YMCA in 1891, and the tradition continues today. Youth Basketball promotes active kids, healthy competition and the Y’s values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

BITTY SPORTS

Learn to love a sport at the Y! In Bitty Sports, kids ages 3-5 years experience a fun introduction to the game with an emphasis on fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Children build confidence and social skills in a structured, fun, and non-competitive environment.

FLAG FOOTBALL

Our Kansas City Chiefs-sponsored flag football program teaches teamwork, sportsmanship, and the fundamentals of the game. Children have the opportunity to develop skills and confidence while having fun.

SOCCER

Our KC Current-sponsored soccer program emphasizes fun, fair play, and skill development. The focus is on sportsmanship and teaching the basic skills including kicking, passing, dribbling, shooting, defense and working as a team.
