Ruby Jean’s Juicery and the Y are partnering to provide healthy food options at the North Kansas City YMCA. Ruby Jean’s To-Go will open in the lobby of the North Kansas City YMCA on July 7 with a ribbon cutting for members and the community at 11:11 a.m.

The new healthy café will have a kiosk setup and offer grab and go items such as fresh, cold-pressed juice, healthy snacks, salads, wraps and produce.

“We are proud to partner with Ruby Jean’s to make it easier for busy members and neighbors to find healthy food on the go,” said Garry Linn, vice president of operations for the YMCA of Greater Kansas City. “Ruby Jean’s shares the Y’s commitment to healthy living, making them a great partner for our first effort to bring a food vendor on site at a Y.”

Ruby Jean’s has three other full-service locations in Kansas City: Downtown at 11th and Main, Midtown at 30th and Troost, and in the Northland.

“Partnering with the YMCA is an opportunity to align our local brand with a mainstay that has served our community for well over a century,” said Chris Goode, founder and CEO of Ruby Jean’s Juicery. “The values of the YMCA directly align with our approach to make healthy options accessible to all in a welcoming and inclusive environment.”
