This 12-week, small-group program led by a trained Y coach uses proven methods based on research to help you get moving and eating healthy. We’ll work together to help you achieve your health goals.

  • Personalized goal-setting to develop a unique plan that works for you
  • Blood pressure and weight monitoring
  • Weekly motivational group sessions with peer support and fun coach-led exercise
  • Body fat and muscle mass analysis at no additional charge ($80 value)
  • Mobile app that includes:
    • Secure online group chat with other participants
    • One-on-one virtual messaging with program coach
    • Ability to log meals, exercise, sleep and more

Choose to Lose is open to anyone who is 18 and older, overweight and ready to make small lifestyle changes.

I think what makes this program different is that it is personal and holds you accountable!  The Choose2Lose program has focused on helping us individually identify ways to reach our health journey by identifying ways to change our eating and exercise habits.

I have gained control of managing my eating and exercise habits by using the weekly S.M.A.R.T goal log. This has made a difference because I’m able to easily analyze my week and make the necessary adjustments for the following week; So far I’ve lost 8 pounds.

Choose to Lose has been a great experience for me personally to stay strong in my commitment to make healthier choices. The session topics have been informative, taking a holistic view of health and wellness, the weekly action steps have been easy to implement, and the gentle accountability from the coaches and other participants has been encouraging.

The cost of the 12-week Choose to Lose program is $59.95 per month. You do not have to be a Y member to participate. Find a program that works for you.
