Construction is beginning this month on the renovation of the Mark Teahen Baseball field at the Fred and Shirley Pryor Family YMCA Challenger Sports Complex. The project is expected to be complete early this summer.

During construction, the baseball field will be fenced in for safety. In the meantime, the Trent Green Field, American Family Field, playground and picnic areas remain open. Construction will have minimal impact on parking, as limited equipment will be kept on site and construction should be finished prior to any Challenger or YMCA sports in the evenings. The nearby bike and walking trails will also remain accessible during construction.
